# Flight 14 evidence ledger

Reviewed 28 September 2026. Primary record: https://www.spacex.com/launches/starship-flight-14, rendered in Chrome. This is a reconstruction with a modeled trajectory, not flight telemetry or archival footage.

## Supported by the primary mission narrative

- Liftoff: 28 September 2026, 07:48 CT, Starbase, Texas.
- A booster engine shut down during initial ascent. Hot staging was followed by an upper-stage vacuum-engine shutdown; the five remaining engines burned longer to compensate.
- The ship reached a passively safe suborbital trajectory, then performed a separate single-engine orbital insertion burn.
- All 26 Starlink V3 satellites deployed.
- Mission control shortened the orbital coast as a precaution and deorbited toward a pre-coordinated northern Pacific landing zone.
- The ship performed a landing flip and burn before Pacific splashdown.

## Published approximate timetable

Stage142s; booster landing burn396–421s; ship cutoff491s; insertion1517–1536s; deployment2047–3879s.

The same page lists deorbit at08:52:37 and splashdown09:50:30. Those later planned times do not establish the actual duration of the shortened mission described in its narrative. Do not present them, or the inherited03:08:30 endpoint, as observed return timestamps.

## Modeled, not measured

State vectors, altitude/speed histories, late mission times, exact splash coordinates, vehicle attitude, lens positions, atmospheric conditions, sea state and light treatment. Early published event times are approximate reference anchors. Modeled state is evaluated consistently to animate the film; this is not validation against flight telemetry.

## Asset provenance

- Vehicle: inherited `starship-block3.glb`, attributed in original package to Clarence365, SpaceX Starship Block3, CC BY4.0. Existing source link: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/spacex-starship-block-3-6f6c6f88a3eb4b4d822fdca66733fbb2 . Model configuration is approximate, not survey geometry.
- Score: inherited `score.mp3`,139.726083 seconds. Container metadata identifies only encoder Lavf63.1.101. Composer/license cannot be established from this metadata; preserve original file and do not invent attribution.
- Earth day, night and cloud maps: 8K textures from Solar System Scope / INOVE, https://extension.solarsystemscope.com/textures/ , distributed under CC BY 4.0. Based on NASA imagery; adjusted/composite visualization maps, not mission-date weather. Downloaded unchanged on 28 September 2026 from that page’s Ultra resolution links. Rendered with lighting, opacity and color treatment. The unverified inherited bump map was removed.
- Procedural scenery/effects: authored for this reconstruction, not captured mission footage.

Asset attribution is preserved. Unverified inherited asset provenance remains an explicit limitation; no claim of cleared third-party rights is made.
